Recently Vivo patent a smartphone with Drone like flying camera module.
The camera will have the capacity to detach from the smartphone and fly in the air to enable users to take photos creatively.
As we know Vivo is chinese multinational manufacturer of smartphones, headquartered in Dongguan, china. The company entered the telecommunication and electronic industry with landline phones and smart wireless phones. In the year of 2011 to 2014 the company entered the smartphone business , it;s releases and markets smartphones under brand name Vivo. Now vivo is the top 5th ranking in china and 10th ranking around the world.
Vivo launches so many smartphones with different features and design along with powerful processors and battery backup. After the successful brand now vivo has plans to take technology to a new level. The company plans the upcoming Vivo smartphone to come with new technology and camera features and the company has already started working on it. We all know drones with smart cameras on it, like vivo are working on the Drone Detachable camera module on upcoming smartphones.
According to the report vivo filed the patent with the WIPO last year, which was published on 1st july. Based on the picture in the patent, it looks like vivo is working on a smartphone that comes with the Detachable flying camera that pops out from the device.
These flying camera modules have four screws which allow it to fly on the sky as well as a battery separate from the phone, and also having the two camera sensors on the body. In addition there are two sensors on the two sides of the detachable flying camera. While the patent filed the company does not explain what these sensors are designed to be, may they be designed to prevent it from flying out to snap collisions with other objects.
According to reports, this Detachable flying module might come with features in automatic mode where it will follow user instruction and fly automatically, and may be supported for air gestures as well but the patent company does not give any concrete information regarding yet.
The structure and design of these Detachable module flying cameras is similar to other drones which are being used right now. Vivo is working on making these drones too small so that it can easily fit on the smartphone.
